I've Molpied Down more than 10 times in the last week and I've been learning better ways of getting through the advanced early game pretty quickly. One of the techniques I've been depending on for all the boosts that cost infinite Flux Crystals (Lodestone, Shadow Ninja, WIWTMP, Black Hole), to not be restricted to only buying one per NP (and even then waiting 'til I've finished any rifting) is this:
- Upgrade Time Lord once
- Use Flux Harvest (aided by Fertiliser) to get Infinite Flux Crystals
- Upgrade Time Lord once more (to have >0 remaining rifts)
- Spend FC on boost
- Use Flux Harvest to get FC again
- Upgrade TL again... (etc.)
The problem is that I now have Bag of Jolting. That is, no Chronotech boosts will be locked or reset again, including Time Lord. That means that this technique won't last indefinitely. Granted, I've got a fair bit of TL-upgrading space left, but it's finite.
So here are my questions, given the described terrain:
- Is this even an issue? Will I soon reach the point (with all the L4 prizes) that I will never have to Molpy Down again, so all the referenced boosts will stay put?
- Given that this game is in active development and rumour has it that prizes are going to be reworked, can I actually depend on that?
- Is there another strategy than what I've described to not have to budget my Infinite Flux Crystals quite so much?
- Would it be possible (lookin' at you, wonderful devs) to add a modifier in somewhere (vaguely similar to what was recently done to CDSP) so that I'm not stuck with Time Lord maxed out once I get there?
Thanks in advance!
