My wife and I went for the first time today (Saturday) and loved it. After doing some research we were both a little afraid that it was going to be chaotic and full of creepers. That wasn’t our experience.
We got there around 11 and there was barely anyone else there. Thank you to the nice couple who gave us advice on where to put our stuff down. We ended up just a ways up from where the couple told us the gay portion of the beach began.
It was quiet, respectful, and chill. We were able to happily sunbath nude, go for a swim (water was warm), and a walk. It was lovely. No one creeped on us, and for the most part we had a long stretch of beach to ourselves.
If you’re going for the first time I’d recommend getting there on the earlier side so you can settle in. Also, bring water, it was a hot walk in and a hotter walk out.
Unfortunately we had to leave around 130 so I can’t speak to the afternoon, but our experience was great. There were a lot more people coming in as we’re leaving.
We felt we were on the younger side in our mid-30s. Wondering if anyone else in our age group hangs out there?
