With the news of him being bought out, what would you guys think of having Zach Parise as a 3rd line LW/2nd PP guy?
With his buyout money, he may be inclined to take low salary deals. (Removing his desires aside from where he wants to go) What would you guys think of 2 years at sub 2M?
Edit: Last 3 season stats:
18/19 | 75GP | 27G | 33A |
---|---|---|---|
19/20 | 69GP | 25G | 21A |
20/21 | 45GP | 7G | 11A |
While this last season was bad, it's reasonable to think all the pandemic and quarantining could have had a negative impact on his game and he could be close to where he normally is. With diminished time on a 3rd line role, with some 2nd unit PP time, I don't think it would be crazy to think 15G 20A over a full season third line is possible
