My wife is a backyard nudist. In theory, we would use the driftwood structures when we visit the beach, but when I’ve been in one, I had more close encounters with single males, looking to watch/join/whatever. This makes it a “no-go” for her. Is there some convention, like a red T-shirt on a stick, that says, “privacy please, nothing to see here.”?
Nothing like that that we are aware of. However, those driftwood structures are known areas for folks to hook up and/or engage in voyeurism/exhibitionism. We normally walk past them and set up near the house that overlooks the beach.
Not a lot of people go that far up the beach to set up and normally you won't be around many others and certainly not around the single guys looking for action.
