Don't want to sticky this cuz the sub only allows for two, and the two that are already up are pretty important. But, I did want to make a post to address an issue some people have noticed

First, I want to say I don't care what people do in their free time to relax. Provided it isn't harming other people. People find different ways to relax, disconnect, or escape. Hell, this scene IS that very thing for some people

The issue arises when what you do around others not only makes them uncomfortable, but also exposes them to risk

Cops/LEO already look the other way at what goes on in these places. You'll pretty much never see a cop at one of these places unless someone actively calls 911 for an emergency.

But open drug use is something some cops WON'T feel like looking away from. And suddenly, what might have been a minor call gets escalated into something else entirely, with everyone in the room being implicated. THIS ISN'T SOMETHING I'VE SEEN OR HEARD OF HAPPENING To newbies lurking or trying to get a sense of the scene, I want to make that very clear. It's just a logical sequence of events to provide an extreme example

So, I encourage anyone that sees it and isn't comfortable with it to report it to the staff. If you do see it, but would rather not get involved, that's perfectly fine too. Your comfort level is your comfort level. But if it bugs you, go up to the counter and let the employees know. The more of an issue we, the patrons, make about it, the more they'll be forced to care and act on it

IF YOU PARTY, TAKE ENHANCEMENTS, ETC., I'M NOT SAYING THIS FROM A MORALLY JUDGMENTAL PLACE. Like I said above, what you do in your free time is your business. No one cares if or how you pregame, as long as you don't bring weird behavior towards others at the theater.

Thing about the theater though, is that it's supposed to be a space where everyone feels comfortable enough to indulge and explore Drug use by others completely kills that vibe for some people. So please, do it somewhere else, for the comfort of everyone else around you

And for clarity's sake, though I don't judge what you do personally, still, keep it out of the sub completely Any reference to drug use is still an automatic, permanent ban. As a reminder

Anyway, those are my long-winded thoughts LOL. Leaving the thread open for discussions, comments, or whatever.
