Hey friends, regulars, and people that have never posted here before -

I don't like posting about the other subreddit because, honestly, it just leads to negativity and that's not what this place is about.

I do want to give a quick warning though that if you post here you will not be able to post in /r/sandiego without getting white listed by their moderators. They've determined that's how they want to run their sub and that's their prerogative. Getting upset or frustrated doesn't do anything and won't change anything.

You are more than welcome to lurk here and post there. If you want to participate here obviously we'd love to have you.

This post isn't to stir the pot for people about bans and moderation practices. It's to inform people because we get a fair number of people posting here totally baffled and frustrated at why their messages and content aren't visible there and those posts aren't exactly on topic here but they aren't really on topic anywhere else either.

Don't target their mod team. Don't username ping them. Don't post their personal information or try to track them down. That's unacceptable and may result in a site-wide ban.

Just know that there's a choice and there's 0 pressure to participate here if you want to stay over there. It's ultimately up to you guys just know that you'll get bonked there for posting here.
