Original Post:
You've been living alone ever since your wife passed. A friendly relationship with your new cute neighbor somehow ended up getting friendlier and friendlier until you started sleeping together. Felt right, with him. Like love. However, your family doesn't know you're into men as well. Hell, you only admitted it to yourself recently.
Your kids came by this Sunday morning, unannounced, while we're sleeping in. They're waiting downstairs, presumably to take you out some place. I ask you (again) if you're going to tell them about us today but you're anxious... It's a big thing to reveal! So I agree to remain "your dirty, little secret" just a little while longer.
Happy Pride, whether you're out or not! :*
Retrospective:
It's been heartwarming to see people come out but it also got me thinking about those who aren't quite ready yet. Figured it'd be interesting to have a story about a romance complicated by this. Hope you enjoy it!
