GMail delegate access on Dex.

Is there a way to get around Gmail's phone restrictions for Delegates to an account?
I'm part of a group and they added me to have access to their gmail via being a delegate, however, Gmail only allows access to it via desktop. Now me being a Dex user, I figured I could get around it by going on Dex mode. No dice. Gmail can still tell I'm a phone user.
Does anyone know a way to trick the system to think I'm on a computer?
