I need a computer to use in the library. Should I buy a portable monitor for $100 and use Samsung Dex? Should I buy an i5 8th thinkpad for $200? The only DEX device I own is my S23 mobile phone. (I have an RTX 3060Ti desktop pc for gaming)

Yeah don't do this, dex for PC is terrible.
