I started using samsung dex out of desperation when I lost the touchscreen capability of my Samsung s20 ultra.
I am able to use a mouse connected by Bluetooth to the phone, but some gaming apps like mobile hearthstone don't respond to the mouse inputs.
By utilizing a USB-C connector between my samsung and the laptop, I am able to run samsung dex on the laptop through the dex app.
However, I am finding that it is very inconsistent. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I have tried looking through the numerous posts for possible solutions, but I can't find a satisfying explanation. Maybe someone can offer one.
Laptop: Dell latitude 7440
Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1365U 1.80 GHz
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2
Edit: I realize from the comments that I didn’t make clear that it is the dex for PC being inconsistent. Not the mouse. The wireless version is glithcy and laggy, especially for multi-player games, so I prefer the wired one.
Why do so many people use dex for windows? Just plug it into a monitor!
Just use link to windows instead of dex.

Just get an hdmi for one of the inputs of the 2nd monitor, plug it into your phone, and change inputs on the monitor to the phone.
