Hi All!

I am currently studying a Masters Degree in Psychological Well-being. For my dissertation project, I am looking to investigate whether openly talking about a depression recovery journey increases psychological well-being and how this is affected by personality traits. This is the first known study to measure this relationship using scientific methods. I am therefore looking for people to voluntarily take part in my study! The essential criteria are:

  1. You must have experienced depression in the past
  2. You must be 18 or over

You will be required to complete a short, anonymous, online questionnaire that should take no longer than 10 minutes. You will be required to answer some demographic questions, followed by a few questions to measure your psychological well-being and aspects of your personality. You will have to specify whether you openly talk about your depression recovery experience, or if you keep this to yourself.

If you are passionate about research and would like to know more about this study, please click on the link here.

Thanks for looking.

Katy
