I'm hoping to grab a quick moment of your time if you are a software engineer or in software development. Below is a survey with several questions about mental health and wellness.
Long story short while doing some personal research on mental health in the software industry. I discovered we don't have very meaningful data. My hope with gathering this information is to provide organizations with data on how to improve productivity, what areas need help, and what contributors need in order to be the best they can be. I'm also looking to give employees a benchmark in a post-COVID world, gauge of services, and see what they are using to their advantages.
The survey is completely anonymous. It takes just a couple minutes and will hopefully paint a good picture of the software industry's mental health. I'm primarily asking questions about how we identify ourselves, what kind of vacation we take, how we handle and treat our mental wellbeing, and how we feel about our distractions and daily responsibilities. I want to be able to compile the data and report on it at the end of the month.
I would like to ask that you share with your peers so the data set covers a large range of skills and personalities. Thank you in advance. Please click on the link below:
