I (25F teacher) am returning to the U.S. after spending two years teaching in Korea. I’m excited to come back and continue teaching, but I’m really not excited to be settiling back down in California and would like to move to a new state. I’ve lived the Inland Empire my entire life and would love to move to a state that has seasons, a larger black community and a lower cost of living. I think my biggest drive is the cost of living. I'm someone who enjoys a quieter lifestyle, and the cost of California coupled with the pure rage I felt everytime I hopped on the 215 is something I'd like to move away from. I’m not opposed to living in what some might consider “boring” states. I am Democrat and enjoy the political climate of California and as a teacher blue states are better. Friends have reccomended me Illiniois and Minnesota but I'd like to hear more input.
