This may be a little adjacent to what this sub is about, but I hope it still fits and will possibly get some good feedback.

I will be traveling for an undetermined amount of time. Partner and elementary aged kid coming with. We will be residing in a travel trailer during this time.

I can pretty much pick anywhere in the US (including Hawaii, Alaska and most likely PR). Contracts can vary greatly from as little as 6 weeks to basically permanently. Which means we can move as frequent/infrequently as we would like, and I’ll be getting a travel stipend to relocate (which we don’t really need).

We want to go places with natural beauty accompanied with lots of outdoor spaces like trails, nature centers, parks, lakes, etc. Interesting festivals, restaurants, farmer’s markets, etc. Big emphasis on free or cheap outdoor communal things. We are pretty minimalist and we have been known to window shop for fun, but we primarily want to be outside being active. Generally pet friendly, generally decent weather, generally decent people. We want to be around creative good hearted weirdos.

Our goal is to pretty much go everywhere so it isn’t really about “where should we go” as much as “where should the first places be that we go”.

Any places y’all can think of that fits my very generic bill?
