Post Body

To clarify the "safe" bit of my title, I'm mainly basing my relocation options off of Erin Reeds map for LGBT safe states in the US. I'm currently in Texas but I don't know how much longer I can handle this heat and I'm just waiting for my rights to be taken away.

I'd love to buy a small bit of land and a house but I would like to make sure I have a job opportunity there first. Looking to rent and if I find stable work, I will buy. I'm currently employed at an Amazon warehouse, so I can find a job pretty much anywhere, but my dream career is piercing professionally. If you are a current piercer who had to relocate due to a lack of quality local apprenticeships, please let me know how you found a steady area to move to, as well as getting in a shop without living locally first.

TLDR/wants: •LGBT safe (HRT must be legal) •cool temps (I can handle a couple weeks of 100F, but I would like to experience some seasons since we don't have those in Texas), preferably around 50-80 on average •affordable (currently struggling on $21 an hour in San Marcos, Tx, which SHOULD be affordable), most states seem to pay less and have a higher cost of living so dirt cheap areas with not much around is fine •lots to do outside/low traffic hiking areas (i collect bones/skulls as a hobby) •near a quality piercing shop thats looking for an apprentice •hopefully near an Amazon warehouse so I can have an employer to bridge that gap
