For about a month my nitrates have been around 40-45. I’ve changed my water once a week and it still is high. I’m trying to get it to 20 so I can balance it with my phosphates, which are at 0.23. I’m trying to balance it because I’ve had this algae on my rocks for months now and people say I have to balance the nitrates and phosphates to make it go away. I can’t seem to lower my nitrates and the algae is killing my coral. Can anybody give me tips or ideas on how to lower it because I’m sick of this algae killing my coral. Thanks
