Hi everyone I know this question has probably been exhausted in the forms but figured I'd try and get a bit more insight from fellow salt water enthusiasts.
First off all parameters fine I do have about 6 mixed coral frags and a bunch of inverts. Fish are jewel damsel, coral beauty, and two clowns.
I recently encountered ich on my coral beauty and now I noticed it on my jewel damsel as well my two clowns seem to be fine, my LFS had given me a medication in a pill form and said to dissolve it into the tank and it was reef/invert safe and unavailable to Canadians and should fix the problem. Unfortunately a week later and the ich is back. 😮💨
I want to set up a 10g QT tank for the fish and then allow the main display to run the fallow period with corals and inverts while I treat the fish, Unfortunately I cannot find a recommended product available to Canadians that WORKS.
I have tried to attain "copper power" from Amazon.ca but like I expected it was seized at customs and a refund was issued to me.
Is there any medications I could use on my fish that's available to Canadians that is scientifically proven to remove ick from fish. Copper seems to be the best solution. I want to steer away from malachite green and fermeldahide products if I can.
