its an odd question, but i figured its worth a shot to try out asking and seeing.
Basically im a new~ish blacksmith who has been doing it 3 months or so, 2 problems though, 1 - I don't have anywhere to put my stuff that's "semi" permanent, and 2, people who live in residences near my place have talked with the owner and say they don't feel comfortable with someone working with fire/blacksmithing near the home.
so sadly, I'm currently out of any location to do this in, and figured it would be worth a shot to see if anyone had a small space (less than 10x10ft), with the only requirements being inside and SLIGHTLY fireproof (a carpet, for instance, would likely not mesh well with blacksmithing.)
Now, I can't pay anything, but maybe something could be worked out? I have a relatively small forge, but if you have no "make things real hot" box, and its something occasionally needed, i would assist in that.
also, being a blacksmith, i could forge (currently less complicated) pieces if needing it quicker than delivery might get you, Make tools that are hard to get or expensive, and clean areas around the used space when i clean up my area.
There's a few other things i could do to kinda make it worth a small part of a workspace that no one has gone in months, and id love to chat about anything else that would help.
Again, i don't doubt I'm probably shouting into a void here, but id rather take a shot at some sorta mutually beneficial relationship than to not do so!
Thanks so much!
