me and my SO are not well off, but we are JUST on the line of medicaid, I barely qualify, they do not, and cannot get less hours or they will not have the $ to pay for everything they need, but if they pick up an extra day or two, and pay for insurance instead, they will have a bit more spending cash and insurance
so i wanted to look around for potential Insurance for them that doesn't have massive deductibles or a "you pay 50% of everything!" because both of those end up with Insane amounts of $ to pay, and an extra day of work won't cover 6k in health debt, or god forbid more. but paying a high amount a month in exchange of not having to do copious continual payments would do much better for us.
i am NOT well versed in Insurance, and any information and choices yall can offer as suggestions, even if they don't abide by above, are appreciated. Any learning i can do to better help them, the better! Thanks everyone!
