Okay - another food/restaurant query, but I’ve scrolled a long ways and haven’t seen this one. My bf lived in Australia off and on for a few years and fell in love with meat pies from a place called Pie Face. Like he will NOT stop talking about them. We’ve managed to concoct a decent recipe of our own, but it takes a long time and such specific ingredients. So we’ve been hunting for a restaurant that sells/serves them. Sagados on 72nd and state is pretty good, but more island than Aussie. Dough Miner didn’t pass (too much dough - shoulda known), and while we’ve found other places that make a killer English style, it’s just not what he’s craving. Any suggestions? TIA.
