Post Body

I was in SLC in 2002 for the Winter Olympics, and my family went to this AMAZING Chinese restaurant which I want to visit again if its still open. This is a memory from 21 years ago so I might miss some details, and the place may be closed. The place wasnt "upscale", but not a simple takeaway place. It was mostly red, in the shape of a traditional pagoda. There were booths with wood carvings in a ([][][][][][])-ish designs on it. Most of everything was red. They had insanely good egg drop soup. I think it was up a hill of some sort, the view was great but that could be said about anywhere in the city. It might have been just outside of the city as well.

Im sorry for the vagueness, but this is all I got. Any help would be extremally appreciated.\

UPDATE: First, y'all are awesome for all the responses, I really appreciate it. Unfortunately none of these are them. Pagoda, Sapa, Little World, HK Tea house, none of em are it. I spoke with someone I went with, who also doesnt remember the place, said it was pretty upscale, tons of red and gold everywhere, thick velvet curtains, and "was near the hotel we stayed at", which they think was the Comfort Inn. Again, sorry about the ambiguity, its hard recalling a 21yo memory. Thanks a lot everyone!

Edit: Thank you all so much for your help locating this place. Unfortunately, though some of these suggestions are close, none of them are it. I might be wrong and have a different view in my head but im not sure. I will update this post if I ever find the place again, open or closed. Again, thank you all so much for your help!
