Bright enough to work three utility companies and inside and not outside walking around the perimeter. 🤷🏾♂️ If you think that’s dumb then I guess I am.
Ok sir. So by my username to you believe I’m apart of The Elite?
Security Officers could be a security guard, body guard, military affiliated etc. putting DOE Security Officer would make more sense and people wouldn’t post that some of these are BS. So instead of me chiming in, I would’ve understood the role and been able to defend your post.
And all I’m saying is may you should change the title of your post for clarification.?
Oooh, you’re the poster! Instead of your username, how about you change the title of the post?
Sir, his post WAS NOT DOE, I know the difference I worked in the filed. Two power companies and a gas company so I’m VERY familiar with EPA, PSC (cause I’ve also worked for the phone company) and even the FDA because disposal of nuclear waste comes into play in certain areas. So you guys aren’t schooling me on ANYTHING. 😂😂😂😂
I was thinking the SAME thing! I’ve work for two power companies in two states and wanted to get a Admin job there. BEFORE you even get hired, you have an extensive background check, a psychology exam and a policy graph test just to name few things. So, being that I saw they had security jobs. I clicked on those too and you are right, they pay NO WHERE near this much. Because you’re only a security guard, you can’t do ANYTHING if there’s a meltdown etc. so you’re not paid that much and I don’t care how many years you’ve worked there. Plus, if I remember, they don’t do OT because you have to be alert for threats along the perimeter of the property etc. so this is DEFINITELY false.
I worked for an Energy Company in two different states and I researched the jobs there. Besides having to take a Psychological Test there some other things you must complete, but I darn sure don’t remember the pay being that high. Maybe for the engineers in the plant. But not security guards. Even the Admins inside the plant were paid low and they were at a greater risk in case of a meltdown.
Exactly, so you have idea what I’m talking about and really have no argument in what I stated from my original post. 🤷🏾♂️
