Anyone catch what Drew was saying after his interviews today?

When Drew was done with his interviews today, he started to talk to a reporter in front of a live mic. He said something that I didn't catch. I did hear him say "For the record I did not" and "I'd appreciate it if you did not write it that way". After he said it, people were yelling that the mics were live. Anyone else catch that?
Anyway, just thought it was interesting... off-season...
