Starting in floral next week, any tips or advice welcome!!
Post Body

Hey guys, i've been a checker at my store since March and next week I will be training in floral. I was originally super excited because I wanted to be in floral since I applied to Safeway but was told that there were no openings (I heard this is pretty common). I never thought i'd get it until the manager of floral came through my line and told me she was told she had to train someone new for it, but didn't know who to ask. I am still excited, but also petrified. I have no experience and i'm very afraid of not doing a good job somehow. Also my training for checking was pretty much non existent and traumatic so that's been on my mind too. I know floral has a lot less people, usually you are on your own and i'm very afraid of not knowing how to do something or having some problem and having nobody to go to for help. At least with checking, i'm surrounded by other checkers and our manager is always there, there will always be someone who can help. I think that's probably my biggest fear about it, having a moment where I have nobody to go to for help=( How were you guys's experiences over there? Anything I should know before I go there?
