My local Safeway has an issue with toxic management in regards to night crew. Our department is understaffed and we keep getting hounded for not being able to complete a full freight load. They try to put the blame on us even when we remind them that they're expecting 3 people (2 most days) to do the job of 6 and put all the blame on us even when we bring up our issue of being under staffed. I'm not a new employee, I transferred from a much larger store that had a night crew that operated like clockwork and we'd never have the issues that I'm facing in this store. The union won't do anything either no matter how many times I talk to them. Our store director said she's going to start micro managing our breaks because apparently we're taking "too many breaks" despite the fact I only take the 3 including lunch we're allotted. I don't know what I should do. Does anyone have any suggestions?
