The organization that I work at recently installed nasal narcan sprays. They are in red wall mounted boxes with a little mallet to break some glass. Inside is the narcan in box, with instructions printed in the box. We have a slight risk of being exposed to fentanyl so that was the reason for the narcan installation.
My question is, is it a violation to anything safety related that the staff haven't been trained? Nothing emailed regarding them, any online or in person instruction
Thanks ya
Edit: we also have aeds scattered throughout. I've also emailed the big safety guy offering free BLS/CPR/aed/first aid from a co worker that teaches it on the side. (She's a part time EMT-PCC and he's a FF-EMT-P) Both certified to teach the course with all the needed equipment. He ghosted me and never answered
