Hi colleagues. I'm a new safety manager at a highway operations company. We currently don't enforce any work boots as part of our PPE. However, over the last two months that I was brought on board as safety director we have had so many incidents ranging from slips and falls, to broken toes, nail punctures etc.
I want to create a work boot 🥾 program, either using steel toes or composite. Executive team has been a bit hesitant since they are worried employees may leave before they have a ROI etc. Anyone have any experience with creating a work boot program proposal? TIA
