Hello fellow community members :)

What a rollercoaster it has been since the unfortunate situation we saw ourselves in at the release date. Some of the community has been idiotic in the response they have had to this situation. Yes, you have every right to be annoyed, i am. But making threats, and attempting to threaten with "20 lawyers" and the like is just backwards, and shows your lack of understanding around the subject matter.

Can the SFM team do better? Sure they can. My biggest issue around this whole situation has been the sporadic communication and the lack of concrete information. The press release that we got was very good, but yes, we should have seen this a lot sooner. Part of this problem stems from the different forms of social media, and how high the community engagement is around this project. So many people were demanding answers i fully understand why some team members may have released cryptic statements in an attempt to calm the community before the full picture could relayed. In my opinion this was a bad move, it caused too much FUD. A simple "We have suffered a major issue and more information is forthcoming" statement would have been fine. Yes we all would have moaned, but it would have kept the FUD issued from cryptic statements that arguably cause more damage.

We are all investors in this product, a product that we believe in that has not fundamentally changed. It has suffered a setback, but the premise of said product has not changed. We have seen the beta's, we know it exists, we know it is all being worked on. I sincerely hope the SFM team learns from this, and not only better manages expectations in the future, but also looks to the aftercare of its community in situations such as this. We have seen how much hatred SFM generates cross the crypto universe. There will be times in the future, where even if the team has the best laid plans, people who dislike the idea behind this ecosystem will cause outages and other problems. The teams ability to deal with the aftermath of this will be sorely tested.

What i hope to see going forward, when the dust settles around the problems we have faced, that we will be given a "post mortem". Where we can see what went wrong, how it was addressed, and a continual improvement plan in place to help prevent it from happening again. We dont need names or details around individuals, if something was down to a staff member then just let us know how it happened, and how it will be prevented in the future. We are all in this learning journey together, and the learning curve itself is massive. No one sane expects you to all know how to be mainstream super successful CEO's , managers and developers right away, be open with us. Keep us in the loop to maintain investor confidence, everyone will be much more understanding when they know why, how and when problems are coming, and how they will be prevented.

We can all learn from this, and i honestly believe we will. We are SafeMoon, we are strong.
