With the announcement of working with The Gambian government I think it shows a strong pivot in the idea of what crypto is and how it should work.

Until this point crypto has always been something that you “buy” with fiat, then, later on “sell” or convert back to fiat. With The Gambia news I think that Safemoon will become an actual decentralized currency.

From what I understand the Safemoon card will begin this process. You will use the card just like any other debit card, except that behind the scenes the card will convert Safemoon to fiat and vice versa. This will prepare us for the total adoption of Safemoon as a stable universal currency.

My thoughts are that Gambians, and later the rest of the world, will work and be paid in Safemoon. They will then buy groceries with Safemoon. Pay their rent with Safemoon. And on and on, without ever having to convert it back and forth to fiat.

Of the hundreds of shitcoins that come out weekly, none of them are this visionary, and all of them rely on hype and popularity to increase their value. Safemoon is the real deal.
