I put this together for a few non tech savvy friends and updated to make it pretty fool proof. Hope this helps.

To buy it u have to:
Download the Trust Wallet app
Hit the filter button too right
Search for “Smart Chain BNB”
Toggle it on and hit done
Click on Smart Chain
Hit buy (if says not available, keep trying)
Buy enough to cover fees too ($10-$20)

Download MetaMask
Hit the 3 lines on top left
Go to Settings - Networks
Hit Add Network at bottom
Fill in info and hit add:

Name: Binance Smart Chain
RPC: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer: https://bscscan.com

Back on Metamask main page Should say Wallet and Binance Smart Chain at 🔝
Should have black diamond and BNB under Tokens
Tap “Wallet” at top to switch networks if needed
Hit Add Token
Hit Custom Token
Paste this in token addresses:

(SafeMoon)
0x8076c74c5e3f5852037f31ff0093eeb8c8add8d3

Hit Add Token at the bottom

Hit Blue oval in middle w/ alphanumeric (this is wallet address)
This will copy (pop up confirms “copy”)

Go back to Trust Wallet and and tap on Smart Chain
You should see the amount u transferred in
Click send and paste wallet address
Hit max and next at bottom (and continue on next screen)
This will transfer to ur metamask
Go to Metamask (could be 10 minutes)

Click 3 lines on top left
Go to browser
Search for Pancake Swap
Go to http://pancakeswap.finance
Hit Connect on top right
Choose Metamask
This connects ur metamask wallet to the pancake swap exchange
Hit the bottom 3 lines on top left
Choose Trade - Exchange
The From should have ur BNB loaded
Hit To: and paste this:

Select Safemoon
Click the Gear above the From and To
Change Slipage to 11%
(try a couple times, adjust up to 12% if needed)
Hit Max in the From section
Hit swap and confirm swap (might take a few tries) (on conformation screen, click on network fee, if above $5 wait til later)
U now have ur Safemoon

Download the CoinGecko app
Setup an account
Search for Safemoon
Add them to ur Profile/Watchlist
U can put in ur transactions to easily track ur profit/loss
