Is the water calm enough to paddleboard at Riverbend?
Post Body
I am new to the paddle boarding world and just got a new SUP and wanted to explore local rivers! I have the $50 explorer pass for river access and I live right the down from Riverbend so I wanted to see about taking it for a spin over there, around the area where the bridge leads to the William B. Pond recreation area. I know they generally use that spot for rafting but everytime I'm over there I don't see any rafters or any paddleboards. I've seen one fishing boat. Is that general a good area to paddle board? Or is there somewhere close by that I can access with my pass?
Thank you~
