Man this sucks. Last night Mikuni Midtown was broken into. No one was hurt but the registers were emptied. It sucks because to me it’s kore than a restaurant it’s more than a job it’s my life. They hired me when I needed a job. They taught me that bonds can be built with complete strangers. They were my family when I couldn’t visit them in LA and most of all I was taught that dreaming is free. It comes from such humble begins and it sucks to see a local spot being hit. I was looking forward to going to work today. Since quarantine started it’s been one of the only things to get my mind off things and now I can’t even do that. I’m so sad. I was going to even make a post about teaching a class and that way I get to make a little extra money and make some people happy with sushi. Sorry if this was too long.
