I’m trying to make dad friends. My wife and I live in midtown area and have a pretty good social circle the only thing is none of my friends have kids. I have two young daughters both under 3 years old. I take them to the park almost every day and when I do I rarely see other dads. I’m not big on social media so Facebook groups are not something that I’m really that interested in, but I may need to join one. I’m into some pretty nerdy stuff board games, magic the gathering, Nintendo. I also get down on a lot outdoorsy active things too. Cycling/Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and hit the gym a couple times a week. Would love to make a dad friend drink a couple beers have a play date, take the kids to river. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
I know a bunch of dads that participate in F3 morning workouts. Those workouts usually spawn happy hours, poker nights, weekend hikes, family events, etc. Might be worth checking out.
