Info on French Curfew?

I found one report that simply states that resteruants close at 11, but my airbnb host is telling me i cant leave past 8? thats wildly dramatic for a group of vaccinated travelers.
That and i can only find heresay information online, nothing mentions 8pm. Can anybody here who may already be on the island clarify? im getting this information literally <24 hours before my flight.
