Freedom News Velmor Report: "In the warm halls of the Castle Den Velmor, Princess Nefi Scintel of Zygerria, and Duke Erik Von Helsing gave a Holonet broadcasted discussion to the people of Velmor and the surrounding Former Centralist holdings. The discussion lasted over two hours, with the pair taking many questions and comments.

Due to them both being technically on deployment, and only on standby on Velmor, the pair were unfortunately unable to campaign in person, an issue addressed early on in the discussions.

While the full transcript is available on our website, we have selected a few highlights to mention.

At twenty minutes in, the question was asked about the royal pair's endorsement of the Free Sector's Faction despite the hard work put into the planet by the Centralist Party. The Princess responded by saying: "The Free Sectors Faction and the Centralist party, despite our ideological differences have always gotten along well as good neighbors. When Velmor was assaulted by DSA terrorists, both the Centralist Party, and Free Sectors Planets jumped in quickly to help and repair the damage. The Centralist party has sadly collapsed, but that doesn't mean the good work they did is invalid, there were so many good people who helped Velmor get on its feet, and we welcome all former Centralist worlds to continue to work with us as friends and neighbors!"

Despite attempts to steer the conversation into why Velmor and other planets should support the FSF, Many of the questions related to the pair's relationship, with one Velmorian child asking adorably when the wedding would be. Duke Van Helsing went redder than Senator Ardan and Princess Nefi gave a vague answer suggesting it would probably be after the war.

When asked about the War, both reiterated their full support for the New Republic and the heroic soldiers fighting against the tyrannical Empire, with the Princess stating that the moment they had orders, they would both be joining the war effort again,

As the discussion slowed down they found themselves facing a series of questions, including the role of a Democracy vs a Monarchy in the modern world, especially in light of the attempt on Queen Miraj's life. Princess Nefi replied by stating: "What is a Democracy? It is simply a way of choosing a ruler. A Monarchy is a different way of choosing a ruler. Proper Governments exist with a mandate from the people, if the people have a mandate for a Monarchy, then that is the people's right and there are benefits to having a Monarchy. Is there possibility for abuse in a badly set up Monarchy? Yes. But so there is a risk for abuse in a badly set up Democracy as well. No system is perfect, the question is, what system works best? And on Zygerria, a hybrid system with a Parliamentary Monarchy is the system that works for us. The stability of a Monarch, combined with the more flowing will of the people act as checks and balances! And here on Velmor, Queen Aria is working on something similar and we hope to find the balance that gives Velmor the best of both systems."

After the final questions were asked the pair mingled for awhile with the citizens of Velmor, answering a few more questions to individuals, including one which made the lovable Duke turn bright red again. Finally as the shadows turned to evening they bade their farewells and left for the evening.
