"Eloms, and Elomins, two species with different cultures, different lifestyles, different economies, yet, is Elom in a state of war? Do the two species tear each other apart with violent war? No. Because, both sides don't bother each other. You engage in friendly trade, you work together, but the Elom don't tell the Elomins how to live, and the Elomins don't force a style of life on the Eloms. You come together as as neighbors, good and inspiring neighbors might I add. We all know of how the Empire ravaged this world, and how the Eloms saved Elomins from slave camps and worked together to fight the Empire. Working together like that, is what we support in the Free Sectors, we don't want to tell each other how to live, but we want to help each other, a Republic built on that principle, working together as good neighbors!
Elom's Lommite mines were packed with slave labor during the Empire, and now that it's gone, many remain empty, and many of those who previously worked there, have no desire to return. Which is why the Free Sectors would like to help, rather than the Empire's brutal waves of organics, we want to modernize the mines, technology is a strength multiplier, droids and mining vehicles can and should replace the lost workforce, and with these automated systems, we also want to help you build clean mines and refineries.
(Posting for Bron who's on a fun trip that hopefully he will send some train pictures from)
