The Camera pans over the destruction of a Coruscant city block as cranes and rescue workers desperately attempt to clear rubble and debris

“Devastation and Chaos not seen since the Clone War,” A woman’s voice announces “But this time it is the Battle Droids saving lives.”

The camera pans to several droids and RRR marines carrying a wounded family out of the wreckage of an apartment

“These droids and soldiers are part of a Rebel group known as the Roger Roger Rebellion.”

The Camera shifts to a Twi’lek wearing body armor and a bandanna over his face with the RRR logo on it.

“It started as a joke, we have a lot of Droids fighting with us, and whenever we left a calling card they would always reply Roger Roger at the end, so the Empire started calling us the Roger Roger Rebels, and so we stole the name and it stuck”

The Camera shifts to another rescue effort as a woman in a long black dress coordinates the moving of rubble

“The RRR is lead by a council of rebel leaders, the primary leader being known by the code name ‘One’” The voiceover continues as suddenly a large chunk of rubble falls, the camera ducks away and blurs as there’s a loud whoosh and the debris is launched in a safe direction.

The camera shifts to the woman sitting on what was once a really nice couch now sitting in the middle of the street. Her dress is spattered with mud and blood, her hood is down, revealing her Mirialan face with tired and bloodshot eyes staring at the reporter

“So you are the one known as ‘One’ and the primary force behind the RRR.”

’One’ nods “One of them yes, it is a council made up of many members from many planets in the region.”

“And you are intending to represent them in the New Republic Senate?”

“I have been asked to break cover and represent the RRR, or as we have officially rebranding to, the Free Sector Faction,”

“Do you intend to keep your code name in the Senate?”

“Unfortunately no, but you have five minutes left before I have to go back to digging people out of this mess, choose your next question with that in mind.”

The Reporter pauses for a moment “So, what does the FSF stand for and why should people support you?”

“The FSF believes that this New Republic should be a voluntary Alliance, that planets should be free to join or leave voluntarily, and that we must never let a Central Authority like the Emperor ever have even the opportunity to take power again. Power should be held by the planets and systems within the Republic and the Republic’s primary mission is to mediate and only solve the problems that individual planets cannot.”

“So you prefer a weaker and more spread out Republic?”

“Look around and you can see the results of a strong centralized one”

“But that was the Empire”

“It was a Republic that allowed itself to be transformed into an Empire. Power must be spread across the galaxy to act as checks and balances.”

“And why should people support you in particular?”

’One’ stands and glances at the work site. “Because I was right when I predicted the rise of the Dark Side, and I’ve spent my entire adult life fighting the Empire that emerged. I am a healer by nature, and I intend to ensure that this fight against the darkness that has destroyed so much is never allowed to return.”

With that she walks briskly off towards the site and returns to work as the Rebel News Network logo takes up the screen
