The atmosphere is light and jovial as guests wander around the large auditorium, food and drinks from planets across the Slice are set up on tables along with displays showing the diverse cultures and worlds found in the Slice. The walls are decorated in myriad of flags with the most prominent place being held by a flag of the Republic flanked on either side by the Free Trade Party flag and the Slice regional flag.

“ladies and gentlemen of a thousand worlds, may I present vice chancellor of the Republic Fi Lor!” Fi Lor walks on stage with his wife and Senator Kikulu “Welcome everyone to the Slice cultural expo, and what a beautiful crowd! I this crowd is a reminder of what this Republic is, thousands of unique worlds working together to make a better galaxy, and yet they retain their unique cultures and all the many things that make their planets special and different from any other place in the galaxy. I was born on a small planet, known as Ferrix, Senator Kikulu is a native of Mon Cal, there is no way we could possibly hope to be able to solve any of your problems as well as you could, but what we can do is give you the tools you need to solve them. And that is the goal of the Free Trade Party, your planets are the ones that make the decisions, your planets are the ones that tell us how to solve problems. The Free Trade Party does not believe in monolithic solutions to problems that may not apply to every system and will be applied haphazardly and forced to fit even on planets where the solution doesn’t work, we believe in empowering you! The citizens of those worlds and giving you the tools you need to fix the problems that only you know how to correctly solve. The Slice under Senator Kikulu is a Slice where you are not subjects of politicians who wish to rule and force changes upon you, but instead you are in charge! I formally endorse Senator Kikulu for this office and I hope you will join me! I close this out I just have one last thing to say, May the Force be with you all! May the Ashla be with Senator Kikulu! And may the Light Side guide the Republic!”

As the senators leave the stage a band of musicians from across the Slice, walk up and start playing an upbeat campaign song.
