Many Canadian soldiers leaving for the Russian Civil War did not want to be there. In Victoria, a platoon of conscripts refused to march to the wharf and ship out. Despite their officers ordering them out, the platoon would not move. Eventually, soldiers from Ontario whipped them back into line and the conspirators were arrested. While today it is just a platoon, tomorrow it could be even more. How will Canada respond? The war in Europe is supposed to be over, is it truly just to be sending out conscripted soldiers to fight in Russia?
(This should've happened in December but we'll pretend it happened in January)
