Recommendations for an inexpensive Narsil (Lord of the Rings) replica for a project?
Post Body

Gonna be asking this in both the swords and LOTR circles.

Long story short, I want to make my own version of the shards of Narsil, as tracking down one of the United Cutlery versions is basically impossible without spending a few grand.

I’m going to be cutting it up, so I’d obviously not like to do it on a $250 licensed replica. I know that a lot of knockoffs come out of Pakistan, not as Narsil but as Anduril but it doesn’t have any runes, which basically makes it Narsil.

Has anyone ever messed around with these knockoffs for projects where it would be unfit to destroy the real thing, and if so where’s a good source for something like it?
