3rd SV, love the 1st gen. Road trip time!

Hey all! This is my new to me 2001 with a hair under 14k Miles. Rides great. I’ve had gen 1 and Gen 2 prior (should’ve never sold them). I do plan on going on a 1200 mile road trip with a fellow SV rider next week and was wondering if you have any tips?
Already got the chain and sprockets checked/adjusted/lubed. Doing a brake flush Saturday. Also adding windscreen tomorrow.
