Hoping I can find someone with a similar experience. 8 months ago, I received an unprotected BJ and had protected sex with someone who has genital herpes(HSV2).

I realized after that I couldnt take the risk and ended things, but I developed chronic balanitis(I'm circumcised btw) and folliculitis on my butt the following week. It's been there in varying degrees for 8 months now but has not fully gone away.

Ive since tested negative for HSV and I've been to a dermatologist many times and we are unable to determine the cause. Has anyone else dealt with this? And if so, how did you cure it?
