I just got the call from the doctor. They said it's super early stage...about as early as you can catch it (they said I probably only contracted it within the past 30-60 days). I understand this is with me for life though. I have always been very sex positive, STI aware, big in the kink and queer communities on education, regular testing (I'm on PrEP myself and get tested automatically every three months).

Now I just can't help but feeling I am never going to have a satisfying sex life. I'm polyamorous, pansexual, and have been involved in the kink community for quite some time now (as well as into the leather and fetish scenes). While I know I can still participate in these communities, I just feel like it's all been pulled, and I just can't ever have the fulfillment they've given me until this point

Do you or anyone you know have syphilis and still have satisfying sex lives and romantic relationships? I am so scared to lose those, and the overall social life that has given me fulfillment.
