Finished Doxy for Chlamydia yesterday, am I clean?

I was told by my doctor not to retest for 3-4 months but all I want to see is a negative test result so that my partner and I can continue having super hot sex without worries. Even if I finished the antibiotics yesterday, can I still test positive or transmit it back to them? Does anyone have advice/experience here
