Hey everyone, I've been struggling with anxiety & panic disorder for the better part of 11 years. I've been through Paroxetine, Escitalopram, Fluoxetine, Venlafaxine, Clomipramine, Mirtazapine, Quetiapine, Olanzapine, Abilify, Oxazepam, and Xanax. Currently I still take Escitalopram 20mg and Xanax as needed. But I read a lot about Buspirone and asked my psychiatrist if I could try it. He prescribed it in a dose of 5mg once a day to take along with the Escitalopram. But now I'm scared to start it. Especially after horrid side effects I experienced with Clomipramine, Abilify and Fluoxetine. Clomipramine even had me going to the E.R. twice. But I can't live with this anxiety anymore. So what are your experiences with buspirone? Did it relieve anxiety and panic attacks? What side effects did you have (if any) and how long did they last? Are you taking it alongside an SSRI like me? Did it improve your libido?
