Hey everyone, I've struggled with persistent anxiety and heavy panic attacks for years. I've been through Paroxetine, Escitalopram, Venlafaxine, Fluoxetine, Clomipramine, Seroquel, Olanzapine, and Benzo's. I still take Escitalopram now and use Xanax as needed. I read some stuff about Buspirone, and that it tackles anxiety and doesn't cause weight gain or sexual dysfunction. I asked my psychiatrist about it and he said it's worth a try and prescribed it to take it in a low dose together with my Escitalopram. So I'm wondering about your experiences. Did it help you to reduce anxiety and panic attack frequency? What side effects (if any) did you experience and how long did they last?
