My LTD company filed my SSDI Application in Aug of 23. From what I can tell most applicants get denied the first time and can spend multiple years appealing. I see some folks talking about getting a letter when SSA makes a decision and others talking about getting a phone call. I'm asking because about 3:40 this afternoon I missed a call from my local SS Office, they left a message saying they had made a decision(did not say what it was), but of course didn't answer when I called back 5 min later, but I get it...Easter Weekend. I am in Arkansas and just wonder what if anything it means to get a call and not a letter. Thank You for your time.
