I've been couch surfing at friends' houses lately, playing Project M and smoking weed. Mostly an accident, as I'm a Melee player. But I follow the dank, so PM was my jam for a while.

Anyway, I play this guy's Ness. And it hits me that Ness (and G&W to a lesser extent) are fucking broken. And I main Ice Climbers btw. Let's look at Ness's pros:

• Dtilt to forward Smash kill confirm (Fox-esque)

• Forward Smash is fucking stronger than Fox's up-smash but horizontal

• Fucking Neutral-B covers such a long range and kills AND CAN FOLLOW YOU INTO THE AIR

• Up-B is better than Samus'

• Weird animations make it hard to time moves correctly

• CHARGEABLE HOME-RUN BAT (AREN'T ITEMS SUPPOSED TO BE BANNED?!?!?!?!)

• He can DJL on you and grab your shield

• It feels like he can lock you down with PK Fire.

• Doesn't he have super armor on some up-b frames?

Yeah, so Ness is a profoundly busted character. I honestly think he might be tied with G&W for best in the game.

I'm still high though so who knows. But yeah after fighting against Ness for 6 days this is my conclusion.
