Is it better to stick with your main, or to find at least one secondary/other main
Post Body

I personally believe for me, its better that I learn and focus on my own character as much as possible. Even when I lose games, I don't have any one else I feel confident to use for counter picks or to show versatility. I used to use Ivysaur as a secondary back then but now I haven't touched her for a very long time! I found that I learned so much about my real main after dropping my former secondary. What do you guys believe and what are your philosophies?

My real main is Lucario. If its one thing I have to say about him, its that he requires lots and lots of dedication.

Whenever I go into tournaments, usually everyone has that one back up or counter pick against me after losing one game. Should I have at least one back up or other character?
