Tendonitis from smash

So I've been really stressing out my hand as a technical Lucario player who ASC alot. I've found out I had tendonitis after visiting a doctor. So if any of you guys had tendonitis, how long did it take for you to recover if you are able to play smash regularly at this point? Any tips or advice?
11/7/15 My right thumb, index, and middle started to feel very weak. And if I would make them to other tasks for a long period of time... then it would hurt. I am currently wearing a brace right now.
